In the morning, transfer from Ninh Binh to Halong Bay.

Arrive in Ha Long City at 11:30 AM and check in at the hotel. Ha Long Bay, meaning Descending Dragon Bay in Vietnamese, as legend has it, was where a holly dragon landed down from sky. The bay, famous as one of the world’s wonders and heritage sites whose formation dates back 500 million years, consists of around 2,000 karst islands and islets scattered over an area of 1,553 km2.

10:00 – 12:00: Check in at Ambassador’s Lounge (1st Floor, Terminal—Halong International Cruise Port, Bai Chay Ward, Halong City).

12:45 – 14:00: Savour a buffet lunch whilst enjoying the majestic views of the World Natural Wonder, Halong Bay limestone islets.

14:30 – 15:30: Your first excursion is a visit to Luon Cave, one of the most unique caves in Halong Bay, featuring the self-contained lake inside a closed arch-shaped mountain, where you can experience sitting on a bamboo boat rowed by a local or Kayaking.

16:00 – 17:00: Visit Titov Island, a splendid destination encompassing a crescent moon-shaped beach where you can immerse yourself in the turquoise water and climb to the top of the island, beholding the breathtaking 360o view of the bay.

15:45 – 16:30: For guests who are not participating in any excursions, we will serve home-made cakes at the Piano Lounge. Guests can also stay onboard and opt for an afternoon of pampering at Atelier de Beauté Spa* or immersing yourself in the outdoor Jacuzzi pool.

17:30 – 18:30: At sundown, Ambassador Cruise will anchor overnight.

Typically, check-out occurs at 09:30, and you will be served a buffet brunch while cruising back to the shore. Disembark at 11:00 AM and transfer back to Hanoi.

Upon arrival in Hanoi, you will have free time at your leisure until you meet your guide, who will assist with your transfer to the airport for your flight to Hue.

Upon landing at Phu Bai Airport, you will be met by a private car and guide for a transfer to your hotel in town. The journey from the airport to the hotel takes approximately 20 minutes. Check-in and take some time to relax and unwind.

Today, transfer about 40 km west of Hoi An to visit My Son Sanctuary, another UNESCO-recognised world heritage, which was once a religious centre of Cham people where royal ceremonies and burials were performed. The site now is a colony of partially ruined Hindu temples from a total of 70 constructed by Cham Kings between the 4th and the 14th centuries in dedication to god Shiva. It is regarded as one of the foremost Hindu temple complexes in Southeast Asia and is often compared with other temple heritages of Southeast Asia, such as Angkor in Cambodia, Ayuthaya in Thailand, or Borobudur in Java.

In the afternoon, embark on a boat trip to Au Lau Bridge, a picturesque and tranquil location accessible only by boat. Enjoy a serene cruise along the river, soaking in the natural beauty and observing local life along the banks.

Disembark at Au Lau Bridge and proceed to My Son Sanctuary, a remarkable archaeological site and UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the morning, you will enjoy leisure time until your transfer to Da Nang Airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be met by your driver and guided to your destination via a private vehicle. The transfer will take approximately 30 minutes.

You will then embark on an engaging private guided tour of Ho Chi Minh City. This tour will offer an insightful exploration of the city’s architecture, reflecting its Chinese influences and colonial heritage. In the morning, you will be transferred to Tay Ninh Province, located 99 kilometres northwest of Ho Chi Minh City, to visit the Great Temple, also known as the Holy See Temple, associated with the Cao Dai religion indigenous to the region. Established in 1926, Cao Dai is a monotheistic faith meaning "Way of the Highest Lord." Its symbol, the left eye, represents the clairvoyant power and wisdom of the Highest Lord. The religion uniquely integrates elements of Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and Catholicism. The Great Temple, constructed in 1933, features a distinctive architectural style that reflects the religion's syncretic nature. Prayer services are conducted four times daily at the temple, with the most popular session occurring at noon. While weekday attendance may number in the hundreds, festivals can attract several thousand worshippers.

In the afternoon, you will journey into the countryside near Ho Chi Minh City to explore the renowned Cu Chi Tunnels, a remarkable testament to wartime ingenuity and perseverance. Accompanied by your private driver and an English-speaking guide, you will gain valuable insights into the protracted struggle against invading forces and the resilience of the Vietnamese people. The Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive network stretching as far as Cambodia, included living quarters, meeting rooms, kitchens, and triage areas, all hidden from view. Following the market visit, you will navigate through an intricate network of serene canals to Hoa Binh Phuoc Island. The island's enchanting scenery, characterised by winding canals, verdant vegetation, tranquil villages, and traditional rural activities, offers a captivating experience.
