Starts off by sampling Vietnamese coffee at an Italian-style café in the Old Quarter. Then set off for a ride through narrow streets and head into the heart of the famous Old Quarter. Alighting at the railway tracks, you can see how the locals live & work, just centimeters from the train tracks in tall narrow houses.
After a short ride on the Vespas toward Huu Tiep Lake, stop to meet an elderly local who will tell you stories of the past in a 400-year-old temple. Walk through traditional local market streets to see the B52 crash site at the lake. Back to the vespas, head to the Ngoc Ha Market for a stroll around this huge, bustling place taking in the vibrant atmosphere. Continue the ride to Long Bien Bridge across the Red River, a magnificent structure built over a hundred years ago. Ride along the riverside as you whiz past the ancient dyke wall, beautifully decorated with mosaic artworks and on to a Kumquat Farm, located in a peaceful green agricultural oasis in the city. Finish your Vespa trip with a special light snack before returning to your hotel.

Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel, then get on a journey of about 100 km to Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Ninh Binh province. Upon arrival, take the boat trip and meander lazily down the peaceful river while passing through a series of caves. The scenery of Trang An is a unique combination of deep turquoise river water, rising limestone mountains, water caves, and a clear blue sky. The sampan boat will be rowed by local people, lasting around 2 to 3 hours.
Afternoon, leave for Hoa Lu, the first capital of Vietnam, dating back to the 11th century. Built by the Dinh Dynasty not only as a capital but also as a stronghold against the Northern invaders, Hoa Lu was shortly later it was inherited by the Le Dynasty. Visit the two old temple,s one dedicated to Dinh Tien Hoang, the only king of the Dinh Dynasty and also Vietnam’s first emperor and the other to the succeeding kings of the Le Dynasty. Though the temples are no longer intact, some precious antique carvings and sculptures of stone and wood are still preserved.

Following breakfast, leave Hanoi for a 2.5-hour drive to Ha Long Bay, including a 20-minute stop on the way. Arrive at the jetty in Ha Long City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities. Be welcomed onboard, and lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay itself. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board. Towards the end of the day, the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board.

Start your day with a refreshing sunrise Tai Chi session or leisure time before enjoying breakfast. Board a day boat to Viet Hai Village, where you’ll embark on a scenic 30-minute bike ride through lush jungle paths and a tunnel cave, surrounded by limestone landscapes. After lunch (served either in the village or on board), unwind at Ba Trai Dao Beach, known for its crystal-clear waters ideal for kayaking and swimming. Return to the main boat by late afternoon for relaxation before dinner.

Enjoy the fresh morning in the middle of the bay, the sun rises on Ha Long in the morning and breakfast is served (brunch on some boats) while the vessels cruise slowly through the magnificent rock formations and back towards port. Once a bustling maritime commercial port of Asia between the 15th and 19th centuries, Hoi An is now a peaceful town of exceptionally well-preserved architecture, lifestyles and traditions. The town exemplifies a fascinating fusion of cultures between Vietnam and the outside world including China, Japan, Thailand and the Philippines. Highlights for sightseeing include the town’s iconic 400-year-old Covered Bridge with a small temple attached to one side as a prominent example of Japanese architecture, the Museum of Trade Ceramics which is an elegant Vietnamese-style wooden house built in 1858 showcasing antique ceramic artifacts, the 200-year-old Tan Ky House typifying an ancient Chinese merchant residence and Ong Temple built in 1653 by Chinese settlers to worship Guan Yu, an ancient Chinese general whose character stands for loyalty, bravery and justice.
Go to visit a lantern-making family for a half-day visit. The lantern, brought by the Chinese and Japanese merchants when they came to Hoi An to trade and settle in the late 14th century, is the iconic symbol of this town. Traditional lantern crafting has lasted for over 400 years to today. Observing and learning how to make lanterns in a traditional way under the guidance of friendly and skilful hosts is really exciting and enjoyable. You will have a chance to practice all making steps, including whittling bamboo into splints and bending them into a frame, cutting fabric to size and glueing it to the frame to complete a lantern. You can take your own lanterns as souvenirs to remember this beautiful and tranquil land.

The unique dinner cruise experience is the perfect way to soak up the sights and sounds of Saigon at night. Our car will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to the pier. Board on the traditional cruise and start cruising along the river. Entertain yourself with live traditional music shows and dances while indulging in a wide selection of fresh & homemade dishes presented on interactive buffet stations. After dinner, relax on the deck and enjoy the panoramic view of the city lights past some famous landmarks such as Bitexco Tower – the highest building in town. After lunch, start your leisurely cruise on the Delta’s beautiful waterways, with stops along the way to explore local cottage industries, including a clay pot factory that provides a living for the river people.
Arriving at Sa Dec, step ashore and stroll through the colourful outdoor market. Visit the historic house of the real-life character in the acclaimed novel and film “The Lover” by Marguerite Duras.
A candlelit dinner awaits at this dramatic house. Enjoy your first night on board the Song Xanh, on the Tien River.

Breakfast is served on board while you cruise towards Long Xuyen along a narrow canal, passing several scenic monkey bridges.
After enjoying lunch on board, arrive in Long Xuyen to visit Tiger Island, the birthplace of Vietnam’s second president. Return to the sampan for dinner and resume your cruise towards Chau Doc. Your boat sails until approximately 10:00 pm before anchoring for the night.

Breakfast is served on board while your sampan cruises towards Chau Doc. Close to the border with Cambodia, Chau Doc is the gateway to Phnom Penh. Known throughout Vietnam for its pagodas and temples, Chau Doc is also famous for the Tra Su Bird Sanctuary, a superb eucalyptus mangrove. Disembark at Victoria Chau Doc private pier at approximately 10:00 am.
